Built in 1597 this is one of the most historic buildings in North Wales. Now Grade II listed, The Faenol Fawr (which means “Big Manor”) is a magnificent country manor hotel complete with outbuildings including a dovecote, the bake house, a malting house and a forge all in a remarkable state of preservation. There are three bars including the traditional ‘Pub in the Manor’ which serves a variety of bar meals. ‘The Manor Restaurant’, situated in the elegant wood panelled former dining room of the manor and still retaining many of the original Tudor features, offers a comprehensive table d’hôte menu.
