Dungloe is a Gaeltacht (Irish speaking) town in County Donegal. The majority of residents speak English as their first language. Today, an Clochan Liath is the only officially recognised name for the town. The town is most commonly famous for the Mary From Dungloe International Festival which takes place every August and attracts many famous people to the town.
Walking and Hiking are the first thing you will think of doing when you arrive at this town that is dominated by the 752 metre high Errigal mountain, D0negal’s highest mountain. If water sports are more your thing then take a surfing or sailing lesson in the sheltered bay
