Kenmare
Kenmare is a small town in the south of County Kerry at the head of Kenmare Bay where the Roughty River flows in to the sea. Kenmare is most famous for being on the Ring of Kerry which is a circuit along the coast of Iveragh peninsula. The town was mapped out and planned and boasts a large main street and square.
There are many things to do in Kenmare including walking where you can explore the Kerry Way, Irelands premier walking route. Other activities include water sports, angling & fishing or take a more relaxed day by visiting one of the many interesting and unique archaeological sites.
