Kings Lynn
Kings Lynn is a sea port and market town in the northernmost settlement on the River Great Ouse, on the North coast of Norfolk. Home to England’s only surviving Hanseatic Warehouse, located on the Green Quay and the most famous monument to maritime prosperity, the Custom House.
There are many attractions in the town, including the chequered-fronted Trinity Guildhall, home of the ‘Tales of the Old Gaol House’. Take a step back further into time and visit the Town House Museum which shows the town’s domestic life. ‘The Walks’ National historic park is home to the grade II listed 15th century chapel and well worth a visit. For those who want a relaxed day out then a visit to Sandringham House, Museum & Gardens is a “must see” during your stay.
