Redditch is located in North East Worcestershire. The history of Redditch dates back to the 12th Century when Cistercian Monks built an Abbey at Bordesley in the Valley of the River Arrow.
Redditch became famous for needle making and by the 19th century the town lead the production of needles and other metal based trades. Forge Mill Needle Museum was built in 1730 and is the world’s only remaining needle scouring mill. The Arrow Valley Country Park is also a main attraction as it is good for water sports, walking and bike rides. Other attractions in the area include The Palace Theatre, Mary Ardens House and Ragley Hall. <.p>
