Wareham is an historic market town in the county of Dorset. The town is situated on a dry point between the River Frome and the River Piddle at the head of the Wareham Channel of Poole Harbour. The town is famous for being built in red brick and Purebeck limestone which was cut from quarries along the famous Jurassic Coast.
